Taskboard can
be formed with cold water or steam. Taskboard has
a flex direction and forming it in this direction enables
tighter curves. To find the flex direction use a square
piece and see in which direction Taskboard flexes more easily.Use a spray bottle filled with water
to dampen both sides, wait 20 seconds and bend over any curved object
or free form gently by
hand. To dry and set, use a hair blow drier, room fan or just
leave for a few hours to dry. Fastest drying is with a hair blow drier.
Taskboard will be rigid in its new shape once dry.Forming
with steam is best for immediate results since Taskboard will
retain
its new shape seconds after being removed from the steam source and
will be rigid in its new shape. Working with steam should be done with
great care and only by responsible
adults. As can be seen in the
video below, A simple electric kettle can be used. Carefully place a
piece of Taskboard above the spout and when the piece starts to become
malleable, form to the desired shape, pull out of the steam and hold
the shape for 5 seconds and the new shape will become rigid. Taskboard can also be
easily cut,
sanded,
glued,
and painted
